Not seeing results makes trusting the process challenging. So I quote one of my favorite scriptures: "Don't get weary in well doing" so I can stay encouraged.

I've experienced my first spiritual battle and it built my faith in him. It all started from a dream I had about our home being broken into. I was home alone with the kids majority of the time because my husband's occupation required him to be away a lot. So fear snuck in one night. The kids were jumping in their bounce house having fun and I just started crying. I felt paranoid like someone was walking so I stepped into the pantry closet away from the view of the window. One of the blinds were broken so you can see inside or out from that slither of space. I stood in the pantry with the door open. Then I started to pray because I didn't know what was going on. Then I cried while saying Jesus, but it didn't feel like anything was working. Then I thought who to call to pray so I called my sister. She prayed I started welling really loud and crying and I eventually calm down. The kids paid me no mind I put them in the bed afterwards. I slept with the tv on that night. The next night hubby was home but I was still afraid. But this time I was afraid of the dark to the point I didn't want to close my eyes. I prayed in the shower. I said Lord I am still afraid and I don't want to be anymore. He said he is the Light and we are the Light of the world. I cried saying Jesus is the Light and got out the shower and slept like a baby.
